Wilson or Trask river tidewater? Or a float down one of those rivers early in the fall run - before the rains raise the water levels?

Great article. Thanks! I'm still trying to figure out how I can effectively catch a chinook on my canoe. I don't think the columbia is a good idea for such an experiment!

Chris, you are right about that! Maybe the lower Sandy, when the water is warm enough to swim in.

Good stuff! I used to fish Oregon City during my boating days. Good fishing and barge dodging.
