Hello! I just moved to Cottage Grove last month and have been curious about the fishing opportunities. I found a bunch of articles about a program that was done in 2012 to start planting salmon in the Coast Fork Willamette that runs right through down, but no updates since then. Are there salmon around here? I know heading up to the middle fork or McKenzie for spring chinook is an option but it'd be pretty cool to have a fishable river so nearby. Thanks!
