Clear water and chrome fish!

Went out to a local stream yesterday with board member gulfstream. Great weather, beautiful day, and decent fishing. Well... Maybe I was lucky because I got all the hook ups. We covered tons of water looking for good spots in the gin clear water. Found a couple of fish after a couple hours. Including a good sized, beautiful red buck that was maybe 32". Didn't get a photo since I had him too long trying to get the hook out.

And then the weirdest thing happened. The river just all of a sudden started turning green. Maybe 2 feet of visibility and stayed that way. We were guessing there may have been a slide upstream. Any thoughts?

Managed one more on a bright colored bead and then we left. Thanks for the black mushrooms man! These things are bomb!


Today, the lady wanted to get back out there to a river she is confident on. She's been skunked for 3 straight trips. Definitely didn't get skunked today. Fish on !
I got into some fish as well. Lost a couple chromers and landed a few too. As well as a colored up buck that put up a heck of a fight.
The bead was the ticket for the hatchery fish today while the pink worm saw action from the aggressive natives.
