I stopped by the building they are remodeling for the new Cabelas store in the Gateway mall:clap:.....oh be still my heart!!!!! Just walking by the empty building my wallet began to quiver.....it won't be long now....oh my, I can finely use my points!!!

I have heard "Spring," but nothing more specific.

Either way, in spit of my snarky attitude, I think that it is no doubt one of the best things that could happen to that area. It will anchor the mall, and be an awesome thing for the community.

I just quoted cutting all the plywood for the shelves in the new store. It looks to be like it will be at least May unless they can expidite wetting a wood ready. It will be fun to go shopping, Finally. Tight Lines, Qwa

It will be nice to have something in Eugene/Springfield. There's literally nothing but bimart and walmart (cringe) and dicks...dicks doesn't count...won't get started on that, and a couple tackle shops. I buy a lot from cabelas and it'll be nice to be able to get touchy feely with the merchandise before i buy.

Haha i know! Right now I try to wait until they have the free shipping events, but usually those require you spend $200 or more... which saves me nothing when I want to buy something for $20 but don't want to spend $10 on shipping...so I keep looking for crap to buy, and then end up with all kinds of stuff i didn't need, but, i saved on shipping.
