Bass guides

Are there any bass guides in or near the Portland area? I am new to the area and dont have access to a boat or familiar with the water ways here.

Have you tried a google search? I would think that there would be some Walleye guides in the gorge that also do smallmouth trips? As far as in Portland I haven't heard of any but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Your best bet would be do some research it and hit it from the shore. There's lots of Bass fishing around but Bass aren't really all that popular here.

Thanks Beaverfan I am up for some smallies. Yea I have found that bass are not popular at all here which is a shock to the system. I am from Texas, lived in FL for 16 years and just moved here from NC so being in an angling community that does not have the hunger to bass fish is a bit confusing

Ya we have Salmon and Steelhead that we get all obsessed about. Best of luck finding a guide and catching fish! Welcome to the state and the site!

I'm not new to the area, but I'm new to bass fishing and would be glad to tag along and learn from somebody with way more experience. I'll send you a PM with more info.
