Bank fishing for Salmon

I live in Central Oregon and would like to go salmon fishing someday when my chances of catching one are good. My question is what rivers would be good candidates for catching salmon from the bank using Little Cleo's or Spinners. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am more familiar with Top water fishing for Stipers

What rivers are you closest to? Central oregon is vague

I would have to say throwing spinners... Hit the sandy for coho Lots of bank access.

Are there any hatcheries near by? A lot of time you can call and find out about the specific river in the area.

The sandy fish hatchery is located just out of the town of sandy. If you call and get info. And dont mind sharing, post it up.

I live in Lapine South of Bend close to Wickiup Resovoir if that helps
