Bad guides getting busted

This is a topic on another forum that I go to. This is the opening post on it...............................



I just talked to a good friend of mine who witnessed a "guide" loose his boat, truck and camper to the WDFW enforcement boys.

Apparently the WDFW has been onto this guy for awhile. Chartering without a license is bad.

They booked a trip with him out of Cathlament.

In addition to that, after catching a couple of fish, the "Guide" suggested a quick fillet and hide job so they could continue to fish.

Oppps.........

Bottom line.............no Salmon Charter License, no Coast Guard License............now no boat, truck or camper.

Now that's an expensive lesson.............




While reading this thread on there and folloowing what people are saying seems there was two guides that got popped for not doing things the right way. One was on Wed and then another on Sun, good for the DFW. Here is a link to the thread on it if anyone wants to follow it or read up on what people on that site are saying about it. I wish I knew when it would be going up. I guess they don't do all that til after the court crap is over. We don't even know for sure who it is yet. I want the names of people and the guilde company name. I see it like this it isn't the first time they got caught and it's not going to be the last. It's like drunk drivers or people that drive with out a license, can bust them all you want but don't seem to do any good though. Need to get their names out there and take away their customers so they can't make the money that's how you hurt them. Take their plate away and they can't eat the food.

If you're guide boat doesn't have a huge guide sticker on the side (much like the boat registration) keep your money in your pocket and walk away.
