Simple way to attach leader to fly line

As I said before my lines were not working for me from the get go. I tie a good nailnot normally, thus the reason why I don't use a loop to loop connection, but when I am already frusterated such as already having had to get a nasty tangle out of my line my fingers turn into boxing gloves and...

When should I expect to hang up the salmon poles?

not 5th birthday that meant I will be out of commission until then. Thanks, I thin my boat could handle the bay. I found a cool map that shows the water on a clear day where you can actually see the holes by the shading of the water. I always have other fishing options, but I just want to...

Not at Ace, not at Jo-Ann fabrics, not at bi-mart. I think that should just about cover the stores in lincoln city, but I had already checked yesterday when I bought the tuna. Maybe some of that haloween web stuff. I think that has nasty chems in it though, and I always yap about having to...

    2 days on the Siletz

Well i spent 2 days learning the river last week. I was so sick of bank fishing on the salmon River that I decided that F it I'll just take my boat out on the siletz. I saw a bunch of fish on the fish finder thursday, thought I had one, but it was just a floating branch, and pretty much...

    Spinners for all occassions?

You could always make your own. I am making a few out of old spinner parts, and am thinking about just throwing whatever I think looks tasty on them. Maybe some soft plastic bodies, a tungston bead or two with nail polish for weight and extra noise.

What do I use on the Salmon River?

I'm bringing 3 setups wherever I go, it doesn't take up to much space just a small taclke box and a bait box worth of stuff. I'm using egg/tuna sacks, prawns, and large pink powerbait worms under a bobber, 3 colors of blue fox spinners, and a multitude of corkies. When corkie fishing all you...

    Private fishing pond

I have had access through a friend to a private lake in washington, right near bridge of the gods. It used to be an old logging camp, then a fishing club, and now it is just an exclusive lake surrounded by multi million dollar homes which some are only accessable by boat. Ican't begin to...

    Better preformance?

    How to avoid snags?

To the person who mention the river being abloe to be seen from space... One of the things we used to do when scuba diving was to go collect stuff off of the bottom, you find all kinds of great stuff. as to not getting snagged, once you know how to feel where your lure is in the water, know...
