    Tuna talk

Canning albacore - for a little variety and to spice them up a bit, try a garlic clove or a jalapeño pepper in each jar. For less hot version, half a jalapeño with seeds (most of the heat is in the seeds) removed. I especially like the jalapeño tuna when I'm using it for tuna fish sandwiches.

    Huge catfish caught in Oregon!

I don't want to start anything here but if you are not going to eat it, why not just release it? If that is a female imagine all the eggs she could produce. Just sayin'.

    New drift boat!!!

There is nothing more beautiful than a properly prepared and finished wood boat. A wood boat has a "soul" and feel to them that glass or metal boats just don't have. I am looking forward to seeing your boat as it progresses. You have a great attitude about it, I am sure it look great when you...

    Alaska salmon issues?

Roger, I know you wanted a debate on this but I am absolutely speechless. Well, not completely: the coal and dam projects have got to be the stupidest things I have heard in a long time. Thanks for sharing. Randy

    Trolling pattern question

When trout fishing, I usually troll in an "S" pattern. This causes the set ups on either side of the boat to slow down or speed up slightly, changing the depth of each. Agree that often get bit while in the middle of a turn. Now for tuna, it's normally a 5-pole spread at 7 to 9 knots with the...
