The Coquille River has a great run of Stripers I know a lot of people put in down town coquille and Riverton and do well fishing for them. Most i know cast large Rapala's not sure of color or exact size.

I agree Diamond Lake is not as good as it once was, I heard they quit stocking the fingerlings in the fall like they used too. I am afraid the Browns and Tiger trout will also feast on natural smolt like they do the chub, but this is just my thought no proof at all.

Went out of Winchester on Sunday with my 90 year old Grandpa we got our 8 keepers for the boat and Gramps got to watch his Great Grand daughter pull on a bunch of fish and catch some as well.

Sounds like a great weather day but not a great catching day but still beats the Hell out of sitting here are work congrats.
