Gonna head out to Charleston In the early AM tomorrow

    To crab the high tide.
Have to leave here in Eugene about 6 AM to get there in time to have the traps in the water before the high.
The solunar says the fishing will be about average with the best bite just minutes before high tide till about noon.
Sure wish that road was a little shorter.
I've thought about Yaquina Bay as it is a little shorter drive.
But not sure how the rockfish fishing inside the bay is.

Yesterday was a good day to be out on the water.
The crabs were a bit slow, we got 10 legal males for 4 hours.
Tossed back quite a few females that were big enough and lots of shorts.
Might of been due to not having as much bait as I thought I was bringing.
Gonna have to up the size of my bait packaging.
I did catch three nice black rockfish, one fair sized copper rockfish, fed a sea lion three fish and the topper for the day a really nice bay ling about 27 inches.
My partner boated one Black rockfish and fed the sea lion a couple times.
