Crawfish and bullfrogs

anyone up here gather these tasty little creatures? just wondeing as i think im gonna set up a few crawfish traps in a creek by my house. on top of that i always hear bullfrogs at this pond down the road and was thinkin about bow hunting them. ill post some pics if anyone is interested.

Yeah i get a few buckets of crawdads every summer but its cold out the wont be as active but I'm sure you will get some. Boil em up with some garlic butter. YUM!!!!

Crawdads dont come out in the cold winter, they burrow down in the sand and mud. Thats why you never see them on dead winter salmon. Try it in the summer.

I catch crawdads in the summer. Never done bullfrogs, but I found a dead 13 inch beast at St. Louis ponds once.

I heard that Crawdads only come out in the winter during a full moon…J/k

Like what was said before, they dig into the mud during the winter months.

i just figured the weather has been pretty good lately was gonna try it but i guess if its still getting under freezing at night they would probably be holed up
