I don't think it is every really a too cold for Trout unless the water is frozen. There is definatly too warm for Trout though. I went to Timber Lake on Friday.It was thirty nine degrees and snowing. I caught my limit in an hour or two.

Timber lake is west of ripplebrook ranger station at the timber lake job corps center on hwy 224 out past estacada.
