Default Roaring River Pond

Got out to Roaring River Pond tonight. It took me a while to find what would work but once I gave into the powerbait, things took off. I landed seven... thats good considering I managed to forget my leatherman. So I had no knife or pliers or freakin anything! Somehow I managed to injure only one so most got thrown back. It was so frustrating though cause I was having line problems and could do nothing about it!

Nice fish Combat! I used to get real frustrated at line tangles. I learned to be patient and not tug at them. I get most out without incident now. Still screw it up somtimes though. Putting new line on helps. I like the look of your setup. What kinda reel is that? I have a setup that looks a lot like it.

Its a completely new setup for me, even the line... which is probably why I had my problems. I got the gear last weekend as a 'kokanee combo' which is my main trout gear. Its a 7' ultra lite ugly stick and a fplueger asario reel. Its so much fun bringing them in and its improved my use with spinners because I can feel out the different speeds to find what will work. The line is new so its a little stiff I think. Its flourocarbon which ive never used but Im on fire with the catching, so im enjoying it so far.
