I'll be hitting up near the mouth of the Sandy River (bank fishing) for some steelhead....that's where I hear it's hot now.

I think I might head to the coast and fish in the bay. As long as it's not too windy. However, I hear that there might be Orcas around the jetty right now and the thought of having one of those rise up next to me freaks me the hell out... I just don't want to be mistaken for a seal... I just tell myself that a kayaker would be in trouble but for me at least he would know it's 2 vs 1...

See, now why did you have to go and do that... Thinking that there might be a giant starfish underneath me is worrisome enough..

And don't forget about the great whites too, and they're not nearly as smart as the killer whales. I'm sorry, I just couldn't help myself. And I won't tell you about the kraken that haunts the Oregon coast .

Be carefull on what you say here, ODFW monitors this site and if they think there is a Kraken on the Oregon coast the new licence will cost more to cover the legal cost of protecting it so a family doesn't try to raise it...

I didn't mention the Kraken because I refused to admit they existed. After reading the last few posts I visited Wikipedia... Nooooo!!!
