Default Willamette river

Inspired by Mokai's successful trip to McKenzie, I went to Willamette river (Irish bend). And I don't regret. The day was sunny, fish were more active than at the pond.

Wow nice job!! I tried to tool around there in my fishcat and damn near didn't make it back up to the beach! Pretty swift there.. Beautiful spot though, I like how it makes that slowww bend.

Hey if you go a little further up turn right on Kiger Island Drive and check this spot out.

Google Maps

I was there one day and there were kayaks everywhere and a lot of places to get down to the water. I guess there is a lot of bass in there. Cheers!

Awesome! That water sure looks nice, the Willamette a few miles north of there is still running high and muddy last I looked. And were those fish cutthroats or rainbows?

Thumbs up Nice pictures...

Anatoliy those were great pictures, you don't need a new camera. Nice to see you out on some different water. Great looking fish.

Yesterday was a beautiful day. Great job and report Anatoliy. It's always nice to avoid the other notorious thread. I agree with Chuck that your pictures are great and that it doesn't look like you need a new camera.
