If you want to try fly fishing from your boat east lake is good for that. There is an underwater hump out in the middle of the lake that raises up to about 15-13 ft its pretty much straight out from the boat launch at the first campground on east. You will most likely see boats out there including all the guides. The other spots I mentioned earlier are also good spots for fly fishing from a boat. I like to go out when the wind just starts to pick up, tie on a celibates, Teeny nymph, hears ear, or something like that get out to a good spot and just start stripping out line almost to my backing. Then I just let the wind drift me along. If the wind really gets going you may need to use a sea anchor to keep you from going too fast. Also you’ll want to experiment with how much weight to use for this if any. I have had luck drifting nymphs with just a floating line with no weight and with a full sinking line with a split shot. You just got'a find where the fish are hanging out.

Thanks guys for your help...it seems that one of the posts is missing! I remember a post that mentioned what type of flashers to use when trolling, but it's no longer there. I've been making a list of tackle to get and I remember a mention of Ford Fenders and Dodgers and another I can't remember. I really appreciate the help...I want to make this a trip to remember the rest of my life. It would be so awesome to catch a huge Brown. But I'm not going to try and put to much stock on it happening, but if it does all the better. Your help has been awesome. I have to say the bear thing kind of bothers me a little. One of the guys I work with has had bear trouble up there before. I guess I'll have to lock all the food stuff in the back of my truck, and hope a bear doesn't have his way with my truck.
