Hey guys, was just wondering if you have any recommendations on spots to lure fish for trout around Lincoln city? I am still fairly unequipped as far as my tackle box goes but I do have a white rooster tail and a Rapala size 7 jointed in rainbow trout colors. I've tried my luck in Devil's Lake and Big Creek Reservoir but as near as I can tell they are stocked lakes and there for love the fish nuggets and don't even know what lures are. Also It's been awhile since Big Creek was stocked so fishing there has gotten slow pretty quick. If nothing else a spot that's consistently good for trout would be nice but a spot that's good AND you can lure fish there would be best
Thanks for all the help in advance! |

If you're willing to give rivers a try you've got the Salmon and Siletz rivers rather close, and then the Nestucca and the Yaquina rivers further away to the north and south respectively. I'd expect you'll probably find plenty of cutthroat around, and in another month the sea run cutts will start to come into the rivers as well.

Coffenburys up all the way in fort stevens, near astoria, way too far from lincoln city! Tenmile again, has trout, bass and much more species. You should at least try there.
