Nice kayak float on the Willy
Made a nice easy float with a friend from Marshall Island (Off River Rd near Eugene) to Harrisburg. It was a great evening, nice lazy float. On the water a little after 5:00, about 7:30 the fish started to bite. I hooked into and played with 5 or 6 nice rainbows, but didn't land any because we didn't have a net. We were off the water about 8:30 because we both had to work Tuesday. I look forward to doing it again soon.

Those are the days where you gain a couple days on your life. No stress, no worries, just the river and some fish. Thanks for sharing.

Tom and Huck...
Reminds me of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn....all you needed was Aunt Paulie cooking dinner for you when you got home. What a difference that part of the river is compared to the section below Dexter Dam...pucker factor of 8 out of 10, but great experience in reading the river.
