Have you guys ever used a worm blower for lake fishing trout ? Mostly used by bass guys but works very well in some of are oregon situations and they are great you can use them for steelhead too. They work really well in lakes that have sticky bottoms and you can use a sliding egg sinker a swivel and leader and hook. The worm will rise off of the bottom because its filled with air. You can after you get the setup honed you can fish at different depths. I have not used one in awhile and kind of forgot about it. They are cheap like 2 bucks and after you see the design will most likely make your own.
Discount fishing tackle, fishing lures and supplies at wholesale prices. |

I've used it before, my mom gave me one along with the worm skewer thing that you can use to thread your worm onto the hook/line with. I don't use it though- I'm just impatient, I want that line back out there!! My mom loves it though, and she's a bass gal.

I use a hypodermic needle, one used for diabetics..very fine needle. I get them from the Pharm.... a few strange looks the first time I asked to buy some. Once I explained they were for fishing, there was no problem. Use them all the time, takes a little practice to get the worm the right size but once that is accomplished the fish can't ignore them.
