Default How's the fishing?

Have any of you been fishing at Timothy lately?
I will be camping at pine point for 3 days next week. I have never been there before so any info would be much appreciated.

Kokanee fishing was awesome over Memorial Day. We caught several in the 15" range, which was surprising to us. This time of year troll deep out in front of the cove, north of the Hoodview campground. Or, if you have a sonar look for schools of Kokanee out in the middle of the lake and troll deep (40-50'). You may hook up with a nice brookie too, there are some monsters in the lake.

Small rooster, black with silver blade works best for trout. Long line it over the stump fields in the late evening for rainbows.

Don't forget the crawdad traps either, some of the best crawdads in Oregon.

Good luck.
