The easiest answer is because people like to see them. At least I do.

Why do people post pictures of the food their about to eat on sites like facebook and twitter? That makes me scratch my head more.

I post pics of fish in my reports because I use the forum as my fishing diary. I usually try to post at least one pic per trip because it helps me to recall each trip better. Also, I agree with Shane that in general folks like to see pics and I believe that it makes reports more enjoyable to read. I especially like action shots - I was disappointed to not see one of Shane climbing back into the boat during his last trip :)

That was the impression I got on this site, so I followed suit. Also, I get inspired when I see other people's photos, and perhaps mine do for someone too.

Few people get "zapped" on this Forum because people tend to honor the fact that opinions always differ. I enjoy seeing fish photos posted because they are typically the sign of one being proud of one's work, and shouldn't pride always be confirmed (regardless of fish size)?

I confess that I also need to see photos posted because if they were not i could quickly forget what a fish even looks like.

Let me know if you are zapped in a rude manner so we can take care of the zapper.

Lol Shane. But yeah I feel the same. I like to see beautiful fish and read about peoples fishing adventures and what they had to go through to get this fish. It's also nice to see your friends/fishing buddies success. Its called fish porn for a reason ha ha. Also it is to brag sometimes as well ha ha ha

Shameless brag posting most of the time.....I also thinks its funny when people get their panties in a wad over a detailed report from a hatchery hole....truth be told, I enjoy hearing of others having success, especially new fisherpeeps and kids. So, I figure if I share what has worked for me it may help someone else. That is what fishing is supposed to be all about......

Oh, for crying out loud. I would love to post pics of a fish I have caught and then crow like a top rooster at five in the morning. Of course, I would have to actually CATCH a flipping fish first!!! :shy:After all, I have consistently asked members to post their fish porn. I believe 99% of you enjoy seeing the porn posted on this site, even if it is a "secret" enjoyment. ;) If anyone has a problem with our version of "porn"....................................................well, I dunno  ..............................ah! you need to position your arm just behind your noggin, palm open and !!SMACK!! yourself on the back of said noggin at a good clip....I'm thinking around 40mph. That's called a "DiNozzo". :wall:
As far as zapping you for starting such an odd thread.......not so much as a ZZ....
:naughty:

Dude. If you don't want any responses you need to become a Super Moderator so you can close the thread immediately after posting. The issue was taken care of long before you opened this thread. K?

C'mon dude friends dont let friends call a 12 lb steel a 20lber? Am i right?! So he's takin the beatin upon his own will. Maybe if thats going to continue to happen he needs to buy a scale at bimart or walmart for 18.95$ because that would save anyone here about a million$ in grief because other fisherman are jelousy sensitive and judge a lot because they didn't catch that fish and hav fun, so they bash on others to bring them down. Wether there consiously knowing there doing that or not. But atleast dont call fish OBIOUSLY bigger than what they are thats just asking for it
