Out of towner (GA) looking for some help/info, hope that’s appropriate here. Some friends landed a 6 night permit down the Rogue, late September launch, we’re whitewater folk who happen to love fishing! First time in Oregon, bringing my dad on the trip, really hoping to land at least a couple nice fish! Info online is unclear about how far upstream steelhead and salmon will run in the fall. Putting in at Indian Mary and taking out at Foster Bar, will we be able to hook any big fish above Foster? Or should we rig ourselves for rainbows and half pounders?
