Which side do you fish? Coming out of stayton do you pull off before you cross the bridge or do you cross and pull off to the boat ramp?

I have fished both sides but found that I get into more fish on the Stayton side of the bridge!!!

I'm assuming you're talking about Salmon/steelhead? What kind of set up do you usually use if you don't mind me asking? (I know this is an old post)

Heading south out of town, turn left at the driveway by the blackberries just before the bridge. Fairly safe parking, but don't leave anything in your vehicle that you wouldn't donate...There is a lot of bank access up and down the river. Be careful of the current, don't let it fool you. There is no warning when they release water from Detroit or Big Cliff Dams.

I use little cleos mostly. Although when flows drop around 1200 I've had more success on bobber and eggs.
