had a lot of fun at seal rock/ona beach. we had some crazy redtail action! my friend and I caught many doubles. we had a fish on EVERY cast. they were on the small side (about 10"), but many were decent size. got my limit in about 45 minutes before I had to head back home. would have gotten my limit sooner but had to toss back the small ones.
we were using gulp sandworms 2" camo.
surf wise, it was really calm with no wind at all; the sun was out the whole time we were there.
if you are wondering which month is the best, then I have to say that any month is good. just find a day where the surf and wind is calm and get out there!
10' salmon rod, shimano stradic 3000, 30# braid.
