heading to seaside

So I broke my shotgun today (not happy about that considering I was hunting when it happend) and now have no plans of duck hunting utilll I get a new one (this summer) or get the one I have fixed. I hoping to head over to seaside this weekend(second saterday after christmas) and was wondering if there are any salmon/stealhead opertunities that way I can try. Any help is appreciated.

Stop by the nehalem hatchery, it was pretty hot there last friday i was there, i went 2 for 6...then weekend came up, too much pressure on the fish it died down. might be good again so give it a try.

Thanks, I will probably check it out. I have not caught a salmon in over a year. lol getting excited thinking about a fresh salmon dinner.

Well if you want salmon you're gonna have to go to the grocery store. The runs pretty much done. Steelhead are what you'd be chasing.
