was on the docks at old town crabbing yesterday 7/28/2012 caught four keepers still a little soft shelled but getting better main reason for the post is seen a chinook boated right in front of mo's seemed kinda early so figured i would let you all know

Well, the river is not open to Chinook fishing until August 1st so they were in the wrong! Nice to know they are in there already though.

I'm pretty sure the regs were changed this year and that it's open to the confluence of lake creek, tidewater included, may 26-dec 31

The salmon reg release says "permanent regs" and the reg book states the above 5-26--12-31. Granted things change all the time and I may be wrong but that's my interpretation of what's in front of me.

This is the second year now that the Slaw has had a May26-Dec31 Season. So they were good to go.
