You can fish back there behind OMSI and on those docks. But i wouldn't eat anything especially sturgeon from there.

For fish that will not get you sick or cause cancer Try the Columbia or one of the few clean Willi spots.

Well sturgeon move all over the place, they go allover the Willamette, Columbia, ocean, coastal bays and other rivers. So its hard to say that any given sturgeon is going to be any cleaner than the next. But yes, you must be careful when eating fish that spend time in polluted waters, especially bottom feeders.

Another thing about white sturgeon is that they spend most of they're time in the ocean. They come into the rivers to spawn like salmon, etc. On the other hand green sturgeon stay in the rivers throughout their lives. They're the ones you should be careful when eating. You shouldn't eat green sturgeon more than a few times a month.
