Default CAGI Fish Calls

I just picked up a few Sonic Fish Calls off the net and was wondering if any of you guys have tried them before?

I've heard of them, but havent tried them yet. I'm just starting to try the stuff with the e-chip.
on your boat try running one rod with and one without for a while and see if it makes a difference in catch rates. their site says fish can hear it from 100 meters away, so you might only need one in the water anyway

Default lures

Lures are made for fishermen , not fish.

I agree cchinook, It's the same reason new paint schemes come out every year. many do a better job catching fishermen. Fish can't see the colors on most lures at the depth we run them anyway.

BUT I also don't think just one evening is enough of a test run to decide whether it works or not - I mean unless you watched it deter fish. Maybe the current wasn't the correct speed that fish call needs it to be.

It would be comparable to me handing someone a KAW or Cascade or many other GREAT producing spinners and not mention the speed it was designed to be run at.
You would have a hard time catching anything with a bob toman thumper at anything but .8mph. Bob counts revolutions of the blade per minute to get them to work right where he wants them.
All I'm saying is maybe it was the presentation, not the gear.

Well said Os. I was more interested in trying out the new spinning outfit. Unfortunately no fish, but it was still fun.
