Default long day on the sandy

Fished from oxbow down to lewis and clark. We didnt touch a thing until after the gauge hole. In the last hour of a 10 hour day, about 4pm ,three rods went down back to back. Landed 2 summers lost one and watched brandon glass release a native. crazy seeing bright winters in the 2nd week of may. No springers yet. Long hard work finally paid off tho', goes to show you can never give up

Good job getting a couple fish! mainly all we've been catching have been late winters with very few summers in the mix. It's an odd year.
were you side drifting or pulling plugs?
