Default steelhead/salmon clackamas river

I'm planning to go to riverside park or carver on the clackamas river planning to fish off the bank anyone have an idea of how the fishing is there was planning to go for steelhead and salmon anyone know of any good rigs I can set up or bait to use and is it possible for salmon and steelhead to hit the same rig?

riverside is a great place if you know how. From the bank I suggest walking upstream from the boat launch to the corner.

I would drift fish or float fish W/ bait if I was fishing from the bank.

Yes you can catch both species on the same lures - had you read my clackamas report from the other day you would have known we caught a chinook jack and a steelhead on the same plugs while backtrolling.
We have not gone a single day lately without hooking a fish.

oh yeah I like eggs and shrimp. alot of people like prawns. use what you are comfortable with.
