Zero fish....am I in the wrong spots?

Hey guys im trying day after day to catch my for salmon. Im a bank fisherman and i want to know where i can catch my very first one!!! Anyone have a hotspot in the willamette area. Im really craving a fish on my line!!!! if anyone has tips i would greatly appriciate it!

i think you are in the wrong time of the salmon season to try to catch one!!! salmon season is almost if not over!!! in the willamette area!!!

well dag nabit lol. i thought coho were still going. Any other places doing well???

The best action right now is on the coastal rivers. The Wilson River section here has a great map of the river. Just make sure you can tell the difference between a coho and chinook and give it a go!

Oh yeah i went to the wilson page and saw the map. Thanks for the advise! i might have to hit that up soon.
What would be the best practicefor a bank fisherman there?....Spinners, bobber/jig, Plunking?????

Spinners and bobbers both work great out there.

Are you close to the Alsea. Fish are still coming through there.

Would plunking kwikfish be an option too? or is the water rather shallow???
