What are the set ups that are catching the coho etc on the Siltcoos lake?

What about flashers or dodgers in front of those spinning wigglers? The lake also seems mostly shallow, should I be trying to hug the bottom?

Lake averages 10 ft. You can use all those flashers and dodgers but I find them unecessary. You will do battle with vegetation more than any other body of water in the state, keep it shallow

Maybe I will try a smallish keel sinker of 1oz, and my new favorite lure, a Coyote spoon.

No need for any weight or flasher, these fish are in the top 5 feet or so. With anything flashy, you will have plenty of vis in the water. Anything with some flash, spoon, spinner, plug......bright flame red wiggle warts r popular too.
