The river need's rain to bring the fish up into the river. The few small shower's they've had over there has brought a couple fish in, but they turn dark real quick. Its all a tide water show until it gets some real rain.
Tide water's been hit or miss, depending on the ocean conditions. The fish dont cross the bar on a rough sea. Those who have hit it on a calm day do much better then the rest of the week.

I went 3 for 6 on the Nestucca and my brother went 3 for 4 this weekend. We also landed about 5 or 6 jacks a piece as well. We fished the lower the river. I lost my only bright fish and bonked a darker 30 lb hen. My brother bonked a chrome 18lb fin clipped buck this morning, but other than that most of the fish were on the darker side.
