Salty summer update

I thought I would drop in to give you all an update since you surely have been wondering where I have been.
Needless to say I have been spending my summer on the ocean.
Here are a few pics of some of the victims.

The halibut are all out of Newport

Do you know if they catch them out of the Winchester Bay area???

I got one trolling for salmon just outside the jetties there last year.

You know you are high on the list of "Super Slayers", right? :worthy: You never let us down with the fish porn, either. You must have a dozen freezers at your place...I could rent one from you...

Thanks Barb. I aim to please!!
Actually I only have 3 freezers and they are stuffed to the gills.
Not sure what I am going to do the rest of the season.
I guess that is a good problem to have.

Looks like you have been busy Mike. If you run out of freezer space you might have to try canning some of that fish. Wish we had more halibut up this way thats a good eating fish.

We have not tried canning halibut but we have done lots of tuna and we are supposed to be canning salmon tomorrow after we deal with yesterday's catch of tuna again

I'm glad you are having a good year. Tuna, halibut, and salmon. Won't be long till the crab pots start going in!

We have crabbed a couple times and done really well in Winchester Bay
