Pink salmon on the Columbia??

So I was killing some time looking at the Bonneville Fish Cam watching the runs coming in on the Oregon side when I spotted this guy.



So what do you think? Pinks on the Columbia?

Ya pinks in columbia, just VERY low numbers and nearly endangered. No fishing for them allowed. They go straight to like canada and idaho i think.

Huh! Cool. I learn something new every day.

I (and the family spent a whole hr monday at the B. Dam watching the salmon jumping around in the collection shute. So cool. haha.

it's too bad that they are endangered now! it would be so nice to change it up and go after some pinks!

Some of these guys have a 900 mile upriver swim ahead of them. Here's a link with a little bit of history on these guys.
