Lower Deschutes, first steelhead

We had an awesome time on the Deschutes last weekend. We did a two night camp and fished for two days. I landed my first steelhead (a native one )and lost 3 others. I landed a couple of suckers though! :D

My buddies did great and landed a dozen. Here is a video of my first one and some picture of our trip mixed.

Nice job on the fish and the video. Them slimy fish sure are difficult to hold and photography at the same time. Good Job.

Pretty good, those natives are pretty precious fish and should be handled as such.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you camp out on the Deschutes?
