Siltcoos wigl girl

sunny and cold this morning, we hit Siltcoos for one last day before heading upstream (actually North on I-5) to where we are 'natives' (Washington) for the holidays (Happy Thanksgiving everyone!)...

3rd cast of the morning, just off of FishMill's, sink wigl, sink wigl, sink wigl, fish on, nice shiny SRC girl fresh from the ocean...

but sadly that was it, we fished up both arms where we hoped fish would be stacked up and south of the inlet again but no more strikes, there seemed to be a few fish up MapleCreek but none of the boats caught any while we were there and we didn't talk with anyone that caught any fish today....cheers, roger

Pretty fish, too bad about the siltcoos slowness!

You gonna keep hitting it after you come back or was that it?

Best,

Way to go Roger! I foolishly went to the river which was rather high and proceeded to practice losing hardware......

Best,

we will be back for a week in December with our son and his GF, so unless the weather is terrible, we will give the Coho another try (Tenmile?) and/or try for winter steelhead up the river...
