    Pretty cool fish. I've not seen one, until now.

    Opahs are beautiful fish.The guys that fish for tuna (albacore) off the Oregon coast catch a couple every year.They not only look good , but they taste good too.

    That had to be a thrill. My step dad worked as a deck hand out of Davey Jones Locker 48 yrs ago on a boat called the Betty O which he worked on when it was working out of Paridise Cove in Malibu before that. I was only 12 at the time but I remember getting to go out with him once in awhile. Never remember seen a fish like that caught.

    I saw one once swimming by the end of the Monterey Pier, at about 3' deep. Then she swam away. Beautiful fish...
