Post Location...........

I am still getting poor reports about Detroit and Greenpeter...........What about the res. below Detroit........any one have any information on that place, can you get a boat in there ? I just don't know the places up north, I mainly fish the middle of the I-5 corridor. Blue River Res. is fishable all year long, boat access and a year round Trout population. I have fished it on occasion and done all right. Any one familiar with it...? Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Roll Eyes My bad..........

My bad, I was mistaken on the boat accessibility at Blue River Res. the lake is open all year and the Trout are still there but the ramp isn't available all year long, as a matter of fact it is out of the water as I type....doesn't mean we can't use the place, just no boat access.

Default Big Cliff Reservoir

The reservoir below Detroit is Big Cliff. It has a very small gravel ramp, which may not be accessible, as the water level is being drawn down over the next few weeks. There are supposed to be some large trout there, but success is sparse (something I have personal experience with). I was up there about three weeks ago, and the water level was very low already. I don't think it would be the place to meet.
