Default The car.

I went fishing out at Peoria Park and I look up at the bank to see this:

The bullet holes are pretty interesting.. Right around the window. My imagination is running wild. Maybe a mob hit that washed down form Eugene.. But I doubt it

That looks to be in pretty good shape, especially compared to the couple of chassis (or what's left of them) sitting in the slough near the Crystal Lake boat ramp south of Corvallis .

Inconsistent... I was out there 3 days ago and there were some huge carp and what looked to be some nice smallmouth just going crazy on a top water hatch. What I had apparently were not close enough so I didn't get anything. Go home, tie up what were hatching, go back and there was like 3 different hatches happening, and I'm talking just a massacre of bugs all over the water and not a fish in sight. ANYWHERE. I didn't see one rise Nymphs, nothing. So, I put on a spinner and caught some pretty fat whitefish which was refreshing, and then tied a two piece brown trout rapala on and caught a nice trout swimming it in the current.
So I don't know what to tell you. The water is down so it's a lot calmer, you could get a raft in with no worries as long as you stay in close, and even if you fished from the launch you could get some fish because they seem to hang out from the launch on up. I have seen some nice fish rise right out in front of the ramp.

I was gonna try it off the ramp last night but there were a couple drift boats waiting for there pick-up so there wasnt room. So I tried to find Irish Bend and ended up on the wrong side, then I found Courtney park and picked up a couple little ones. I know what you mean about the bug hatch though, my car is a mess!
