It's a hybrid cross of white bass and freshwater stripers. They were planted in TenMile Lake back in the early 90's to gain control of the massive population of stunted bluegills (also wiped out the local frog population). The experiment was an utter failure and the ODFW removed all restrictions and limits for them around '96. Most are gone now, but some not-so-sterile fish bred with the local striper population and made another cross that migrates to sea.
