Small town cop on a power trip. You should be glad that the female cop did not just shoot him and claim her life was at risk. She most likley uses her taser 3 times a week.
Those Corvallis police are like 8th graders in a middle school they like to assert their athority no-matter what the situation. No real crime, so they spend their time writing tickets for 10 mph over the speed limit. Just remember most police that are in small towns like that are just training to move up to a big city. The old timers would have never made that type of stupid mistake. Have him get a lawyer and go after the police for damage. Good luck.

I did live there for a short time, and I must say that the police SHOULD spend more time dealing with the growing meth , and meth related crime in the Albany Corvallis area. Perhaps if they would stop wasting time enforcing their own ridiculously low in-town speed limit they could address an issue that actually effects the town. Not speaking about highway speeders of course, just the 10 mph or so offenders in town.
my 2cents now I am done. I am glad we have people willing to be in law enforcement , just wish they would concentrate on the big crimes.
