Default North American Fishing Club

I just became a member, and let me tell you it is a hell of a deal. The price is one dollar a month, you pay for 2 or 3 years in advance. For that you get a monthly subscription to "North American Fisherman", which is a great magazine. I got my first copy the other day and it's top notch quality (I used to be a printer haha) loaded with info on all the species and the tips you need to know for that month. You also get this:

Now I got a walleye book because I claimed walleye fishing was my main objective, hoping that I would get better baits in the gear giveaway side of the deal. I should have just said bass.
I can keep the book for $7 and get a free 5 part fillet knife set, a free assortment of different kinds of Berkely lines, a pack of free lures including Mann's Hardnosed Salt Injected Worm Pack, Berkely Power Worms and more a $70 value, and then become a candidate to receive free previews of fishing books about to be published.
At that point they send me the knives, I test them and send in a review and they are mine to keep!
They have a lottery where they draw names and send gear off to be reviewed (all the way up to trolling motors) and guess what? You get to keep it free of charge! They are given the items free by the makers just for this because they have millions of serious fishermen as members. They have gear giveaways just because along with a catalog and a library of books and DVDs all for seriously low prices. All for a dollar a month. Seems well worth it to me

I am a member as well. I like the mag but it lacks info on NW fishing. Most articles are on warm water species like Cat fish, crapie and Bass. They sent me a free fillet knife set that I found to be lacking in the sharpness dept. But I do like the articles even though they aren't aimed at salmon or Steelhead. I also know that I sent my book back and they still want me to pay for it. As for the free stuff the bobbers and line were nice gifts but I havn't seen anything else since. I like the idea though.
