North fork was sweet today we kept 15 for 3 of us with 5 or so caught and let go. It started pouring rain around 9 or so and then it got real nice. Everyone was having good luck and it seems green body copper blade worked real good. here is some pictures of the bounty on the boat. Thats me and my wife on left and a friend on the right

Went back out today done by 12 started out 6am the FIRST boat on the water today and the bite was great for Us! We talked to one guy while leaving and he said he only got one. It was hard to tell him about our limits two days in a row but he was happy to find out somebody was having luck. The atmposphere and fellow boaters are top notch at north fork resevoir. One tip the unimproved ramp before prometory park is steep and slick when wet. The one at the marina is my favorite lauch in the state so far.
-cheers

Sad

went up to North Fork last weekend, didnt even get a bite. was fishin off the bank. alot of current in there. also went to faraday. some people were catchin some, got hypnotized by the huge fish swimmin around and jumpin in there. i wanted to fight one of those babies so bad. they werent bitin, and i wasnt about to snag em. one guy gave us a pity fish at faraday and we went home with our tails between our legs. but we stopped by eagle creek and did a scout run, and it looks good for silvers in the fall!!!

I was up there yesterday and belive it or not I hooked one on a huge spinner. The one I hooked was steelie I belive had a white head. Fought for about 5 minutes jumping way out of the water. Keep in mind I had 6 LB line on. Got it to the bank didnt have a net and it went to run out again and boom lure right out of the mouth.

But it was a hell of a fight

This is what it is all about, thanks for sharing... Can't tell you how many times this has happened to me, more than one (way more) Steelie has surpassed my landing capabilities for the moment; but what a great feeling anyway Brought back a flood of memories for me, Thanks again...
