Seems like every time I see one it's eating a fish.

Pretty nice trout there. It was a pretty windy day but still managed to get 7 keepers between my gf and I, 5 within the first hour and a half. Wedding ring with a piece of worm was working on a very slow troll.

They are coming through at pretty good numbers. Time to go fishing.

I am guessing the only way to get away is on a boat.

Now THAT'S what i call trout. Awesome looking fish. I have a lot to learn before I have even a chance at one that big. :)

I want to know where you catch them on the John Day. Sounds like you have caught your share of Carp. :)

They are pretty good. I went above the dam and didn't catch any. Too early for that I guess.

The Shad, they go for anything shiny. Kinda dumb, but Im not complaining. :D

Hahaha That is a brilliant idea, if i fished for sturgeon I would be doing that. Ive heard you can use an empty hook and still catch them.

Too bad i dont have a boat, but that's not a problem, we are talking Shad here, cast and Bingo!!

Now I have proof too. Even better. I know where im going this Saturday :D

Shad are finally starting to make it to the Bonnevile dam. Official count is 5 but that number exponentially grows every day. Can't wait to pull a few in. (Or a few hundred :D)

Now thats what you call a fish. Better yet 2 of them!!
