I launch my boat from the wheatland ferry and fish all the way down to lambert slough. The slough has been pretty slow. Have done ok at the mouth for smallies.

Try all depths. Get some weight and go deep and try a variety of techniques till you find what get bites. Try slow water and fast water. My biggest smallie was 4lbs near keizer. I have had lots of large mouth over 4lbs. Good luck let me know how you do.

Yes senkos they sell them at most sporting good shop even walmart and fredmeyers carries them. 5 inch work well

Salem. Fish senkos and fish them slow. Pumkin green or craw color. Also throw crank baits try different colors. I pick that fish up on the edge of the current in the slack water. Try different depths and try spots with more curent. Throw on a slider weight to help keep you senkos down. Good...

Spent couple hours on the willamette this morning with lots of action. This is one of the bigger bass. 4.11lbs

My family goes there every year. Use a small hook and a small chunk of worm. Slow retrieval and you should have a none stop day of catching!! Small jig heads like crappie jigs tipped with worm do the trick too. Good luck and have fun!!

I have been fishing foster lake a lot and have been getting tons of perch. Small chunck of worm and slow retrieval seems to work great. Have had some good size perch.

Pfluger president. I use that reel for everyrthing from bass to bottom fisbing the coast never lets me down and oh so smooth.

I use to bank fish that area a lot. There are some goos size bass in there. Water drops in the summer. Top water frog works good.

They ranged from 6" to 10". How does one cook squid?

Last year was bottom fishing out Newport down around seal rock we hooked about 6 squid on out bottom fishing grubs and some shrimp flies. No sure if we drifted through a school of them but they made the fishing good.
