Draged my boat to Hammond for the very first time this past week. (I live in S. OR) On tuesday, 5 of us caught five chinook and 2 hatchery coho. Wed we got skunked, only had two hits and that was it. Guess thats why they call it fishing c and not catching.

Thanks NWDiscer, I wonder if they go into coos bay- I just never really hear of people catching sharks in OR, I searched online and theres a lot about california shark fishing the bay area but nothing 4 OR.

Most of the small streams other than Butte Crk and Applegate are closed to fishing to protect spawning habitat of salmon and steelhead. Applegate, Butte Crk and Upper Rogue above lost Crk are all good small stream fishing. Just check the Regs
