Was there on Thursday; fished until 2PM.
Came away skunked....not even a hit and I wasn't the only one.
A callibaetis hatch the night before meant there wasn't much hunger anywhere.
Weather was cooperative and the wind wasn't bad, but it was a wasted trip.
Connor MacLeod: "I don't like boats, I don't like water. I'm a man, not a fish."
Ramirez: "So you complain endlessly."
Connor MacLeod: "I am Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod. I was born in 1518 in the village of Glenfinnan on the shores of Loch Shiel. And I am immortal."
I am a walking mass of scar tissue, mended bones, bangs, bumps, and dents.
I don't worry about injuries anymore...I think I might be immortal.
Good to hear you're OK.:thumb:
Forget the Met.
It is a fickle fishery that requires a lot of experience and knowledge.
Fall River and the lower Deschutes is where the real action is.
If stillwater is your cup of tea, try the Deschutes arm of Wikiup (below S. Twin) and westside of Crane Prairie.
