Anyone fishing the ocean off Buoy 10?

Yeah, we went but decided against going out at about buoy 12. Came back in and fished around the bridge and of course caught 3 nooks and a very nice native coho. How quick can change.

    Astoria salmon

Went out of Hammond yesterday. Crossed a very amenable bar and trolled along north of the condos in about 30 feet of water. Got the first nook pretty quick on a cut plug herring right off the bottom. We had to work for them, but ended up with 2 nooks and 3 silvers. Trolled a lot of everything...

Might want to read the signs for the beaches on Sauvies. The wife and I were a little surprised the first time we went there and found nude beaches.

    Hagg monster!

My friend caught one about that size by the dam earlier this year. We were catching the usual 10 inchers when the drag started going off!! Funny shape to the m though. Almost like the tail is an afterthought. My bud says they are brood stock they release at toward the end of their lives. Nice...

    First trip to Diamond lake

First of all, let me say I am doing this on my wife's laptop since my computer died. This is not a keyboard.. I had a chance to fish Diamond lake with my fishing buddy, who has fished this so much his GPS looks like a road map of top 10 hits. I give this report as freely as he does, to anyone...

    Bait box and cutting board

Thanks for the compliments guys. I enjoy creating solutions to problems. I feel the basic plan could be adapted to a number of different boats. If any one would be interested, I could post some better pics. Then you see all the wobbles ;)
